Furniture for health care facilities.
Chairs for waiting rooms at small to medium healthcare facilities.
The waiting room is the first point of ‘pause’ at healthcare facilities. Seating in the environment is generally archaic and un-explored. Furniture manufacturer, Kimball was looking to develop seating solutions for small to medium healthcare facilities. This line of chairs was designed to lend color & uplifting vibe into the space.

Waiting room furniture in small-mid sized facilities are archaic & drab. Often the seating is not supportive of the needs of geriatric & bariatric patients.
Stand-assist arms.
A key consideration was ease of use for people that might be weak or have geriatric / bariatrics needs. Arms of this chair extend upwards to lend support while sitting down & standing up.
Ease of maintenance and assembly.
Smooth surfacing & fewer corners make for easy maintenance and cleaning. The chairs are stack-able. Designed for ease of assembly, the gas assisted injection molded body parts are held together by a formed & cut sheet metal structure.
